Therapy

Seeking therapy can be a helpful step if you are struggling with life’s challenges, specific stressors or simply seeking personal growth. Therapy provides a non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and emotions.

Whether you have experienced therapy before or are new to the idea, seeking therapy can be daunting task. It’s a good idea to arrange an initial conversation to ensure it feels like you can work together as a positive therapeutic relationship is the best predictor for successful therapeutic outcomes. I am able to offer some sessions in person and remote sessions.

Individuals often wonder how long the process will last and its different for everyone. Some will benefit from a one-off consultation, others a short and brief regular intervention and at other times a regular, anchoring session.

Walk & Talk Therapy

As well as traditional therapy, once we have completed an assessment and 1-3 sessions to establish goals to work towards together, I am delighted to be able to offer ‘walk and talk therapy’. This involves meeting in Nw11, London to walk during our session together on Hampstead Heath. There in increasing evidence of the benefits of conducting therapy in an outdoor walking environment and I would be happy to discuss this further if you are interested in considering this approach.

Ending therapy tends to be a process of discussion and reflection and mutual agreement. You should expect to leave the process with insight, coping strategies and tools to better manage.
